Casualty Series 32, Episode 7 ~ Review

Welcome to my new blog for television and movie reviews! I felt a move to a new platform to continue with reviews and interviews from on-screen, namely the TV and the Cinema – so here it is, I hope you enjoy. Thank you for migrating across with me and I hope you will still keep an eye on what I’m up to over on sister blog Break A Leg too.

What better way to kick start reviews on this new blog than with last week’s Casualty episode? I’m glad you agree! Here we go…

Picture Shows: Dr Dylan Keogh (WILLIAM BECK), Sanosi Jemal (TUT NYUOT), Dr Dylan Keogh (WILLIAM BECK) – (C) BBC – Photographer: Alistair Heap
  1. Connie’s Heart ~ well, it’s not looking good is it? The Ice Queen whom many would have suspected to be heartless has a heart tumour. Very possible malignant, although she was questioning that diagnosis – naturally! Grace is being kept out of the loop and ignored – no change there some might say. Her decision at the close of the episode came as a shock, does Connie really think she’s the bionic woman and can survive this without treatment? Insert shocked-looking emoji here!
  2. Ethan’s edging ~ Ethan hasn’t let the heart scan which Connie showed him, go and he’s edging in, chomping at the bit to be involved in the case. Does she feel she shouldn’t have shown him because now she has to let him in on the big secret? Possibly! She’s piqued the young doctor’s interest though and like it or not, he’s along for the ride, now.
  3. Three’s a Crowd ~ With Sam back on the scene as Paramedic working with Iain, Lily is not so sure of her ground anymore. Her suspicions are clear when she sees the two of them together, bantering and back-biting in their over-familiar way. Lily’s envy was topped off with Sam lifting weights which were certainly too heavy for the doctor’s strength to cope with – of course Lily HAD to have a go though, didn’t she? When her man and her ‘nemesis’ were out of the building of course. I somehow feel that a trip to the pub is becoming customary post-shift activity now and that it’s never just Lily and Iain. I predict trouble, as I did last week.
  4. Dylan’s doomed ~ Dylan is forced to bring Sanosi into the ED and he and David are desperate to treat him out of the view of everybody else. Of course Louise is soon asking questions and muscling in – she inadvertently finds a clue to Sanosi’s identity when looking back at a photo on Alicia’s phone. Is the game up for Dr Keogh?
