Casualty Series 32, Episode Nine ~ Review

BBC’s Casualty was non-stop on Saturday night wasn’t it? Jealousy, secrecy, revelations – action-packed and then some. What were your highlights? Here are a few of mine…

  1. Love ‘Triangle’ ~ Lily, Iain and Sam – how is this going to end? Badly, I’m thinking! Lily puts herself in the ‘middle’ by going out with the pair of Paramedics as an Observer. Not only does she find herself on the receiving end of a tongue lashing from Sam when she butts in with her medical opinion, she also witnesses Sam and Iain singing and ‘rocking’ to the same song. They share a banter that Lily and Iain don’t have and that bothers her. The ketchup saga at the end of the episode is the final straw, though.
  2. Dylan’s discovered ~ Louise hasn’t let the Sanosi suspicion drop and Dylan finds a Social Worker poking her nose in, Connie on the warpath and Louise looking triumphant at having done the right thing. The story clearly isn’t over yet and Dylan and David look set to be in trouble. A lot of trouble!
  3. Connie ~ Connie’s arm drama isn’t forgotten, as blood seeps through the bandage and Ethan passes comment. I’m looking forward to seeing where this storyline goes, who better than Amanda Mealing to take on such a challenge, too. (I note she’s now directing an episode, I expect it’s making a refreshing change).
  4. Love Note ~ Let’s just take a moment to appreciate the love note from Duffy to Charlie. All together now… awwww! Or fingers down throat time, depending on how you feel about this pair!
  5. Break A Leg Awards ~Break A Leg Awards 2017

Casualty, Will Beck, Amanda Mealing, Jason Durr and Crystal Yu are all up for awards in the Break A Leg Awards shortlist. Voting is open until Saturday 20 November 2017.
